Family – Community – Country

I'm proud to have served my country in the British Army for over 18 years — a career that didn't just shape me, it defines who I am. It instilled in me the values of leadership and integrity that I live by to this day: honesty, loyalty, selfless commitment, resilience and dedication. These aren't just words; they're the foundations of who I am.
Beginning in the Royal Engineers before joining The Life Guards, The Household Cavalry, I served as a reconnaissance specialist and deployed to some of the most hostile environments on earth, including Iraq and Afghanistan. Like many who've served, I lost close friends, and one day in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, changed my life forever.
In 2006, as part of the initial task force into Helmand Province, my troop of vehicles was ambushed and pinned down under ferocious enemy fire. As we fought for our lives, three of my colleagues were killed just metres from me. They had overtaken my vehicle only seconds before an improvised explosive device detonated beneath them. The three men in the rear of the vehicle were killed instantly.
A fourth soldier was gravely wounded and trapped some 70 metres away, caught between heavy Taliban and friendly fire. Without hesitation, I ran through the chaos to reach him, lifted him onto my shoulders, and carried him back through the fighting to the relative safety of my vehicle. For my actions that day, I was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross — the second-highest award for bravery in the face of the enemy. For me, knowing that a man had survived because of me was all that mattered.
The values I lived by on that day now guide me as a local campaigner and full-time Reform UK volunteer in The Wrekin, Shropshire. I act because I care deeply about the future for my family, and the life my grandchildren will have if we do nothing now. Our community will suffer further if people do not stop what has been happening for decades. The once-great Britain we were proud to call our nation is now broken, and must be saved before it's too far gone. The Wrekin isn't just a name on a map — it's where we live, and I will always fight for everyone who calls it home.
I don't believe in career politics, spin or point-scoring. I believe in service and action, not just acting when people are watching. True leadership means standing up for constituents and simply doing the right thing, even when that means making difficult decisions. I will always be a voice for you, and I will never back down from a challenge when it comes to protecting our community.
Whether it's bringing the rape gangs to justice and holding to account the institutions that failed their victims, securing our borders and stopping hotels and HMOs being used to house illegal immigrants, defending our farmers and our countryside, or easing the squeeze on working families and demanding better local services, I will fight for you. I'm already writing the letters and making the calls, challenging councillors, our current MP and government departments, whoever they are. If they fail to act in your best interest, I will be asking them why.
No issue is too small, and no challenge too great.
My work as your local voice has only just begun. I'm here now, and always will be, to look after your family, your community and everyone in The Wrekin.
The Wrekin is one of the most beautiful areas of England. It deserves to be protected and cherished, for us, for our children and for generations to come.
This is your home. We are a family. And as one community, we must all work together.
